Students return to Charlottesville to begin spring semester amid pandemic

With UVa moving forward with its Feb.1 date for starting spring semester classes, many students have already begun the process or are currently moving back into the Charlottesville area to get accommodated and prepared for classes next Monday.

Though not much has changed from the fall semester in terms of number of classes offered online vs. in-person, initial restrictions will be much more limiting as there will not be a two-week period in which on-campus students have a delayed moving in.

The upcoming semester brings renewed energy and excitement, however students have been cautioned in many emails about the difficulties for this semester and the diligence required in limiting the spread of covid-19.
