The right food
You shouldn’t be worrying about supplements unless your nutrition through your diet is in check first. Make sure to avoid high sugar and processed foods and instead reward your immune system through vitamin-C heavy foods. Bell peppers, citrus fruits, tomatoes, and other assorted greens are a great place to start! All of these give your immune system a boost.
Sleep to charge
Just like our phones need to charge to be unwaveringly usable, our bodies need to charge as well for our health. This is done through sleep. If you aim to sleep around 10pm (which should definitely be possible if you’re working from home) your cells can regenerate, fighting off threats of disease in the process.
Exercise for strength
Exercise invigorates your immune system’s T-cells and keeps blood sugar levels healthy. Often, people assume that exercise requires going to a gym or spending money, but it truly only involves going outside and taking walks with fresh air. Trust us, you’ll feel good afterwards.
Emotional health
Who knew that laughing catalyzes the process of bringing oxygen into your lungs, lowers blood sugar levels, and decreases stress? Keep a smile on your face and surround yourself with the right people (please practice social distancing—we beg you) to keep your mood upbeat and body healthy!
Boost your immune system during Covid-19
If you take these four pillars to glowing immune health seriously, your body will surely reward you and be more likely to fight sickness in the midst of this global pandemic.
